xfractint

here are some images created last night (27.02.07), i am learning to use fintmap1, a tool for creating and editing colour maps. it can be found here on paul n lee's website.
the images are in their original .gif format, you can download them and load them directly into fractint or xfractint to have look at, play around with etc.
save to your hardrive by right clicking on the image (not the thumb on this page), launch xfractint and load the image by pressing control and the @ sign (this works in xfractint and i assume it works the same in fractint). if you want the image larger (this only works in xfractint i think) launch xfractint, scale the window to the size you want by dragging the sides or corners of the window and then load the .gif, then, hit 'v' and and change the preview display option to 'yes'.

1 fintmap is for windows but works well with wine, just some minor problems with display

credits: this page was created with igal (with some minor edits to the css) and i used some html tips from www.echoecho.com
